A-Frame Chair
The A-Frame chair embodies the readymade approach of using everyday, found, and off-the-shelf components to new and surprising effect. The chair conjures the iconic Adirondack chair, as well as the experimental work of Gerrit Rietveld and others who combined rectilinear wood elements, simple geometry, and color to create dynamic and complex compositions. The simple and sturdy construction consists of three CNC-cut metal brackets joining ten equal size wood pieces.
